The Lemon Twigs Houston Concert reviews
Depeche Mode was fun and nostalgic
The Lemon Twigs played a mix of hits mostly from their recent albums and opened with the first 3 songs on their past album. While the sound was great, the show was fun. As usual, they had interesting stage visuals, this time with a digital orb that initially displayed a woman's lips, a crow's eye, The Lemon Twigs, etc. Loved Martin Gore's sequined suit; he opened playing on a star shaped guitar, then switched out to a few other traditional looking guitars. The sold-out Hollywood Bowl responded as all high school reunion attendees do; first checking out all the other "moders", playing cool, ultimately jumping and screaming to their favorite songs from back in the day. Had seats in section M, couldn't see too much else on the stage to give a review. Good times.
